Our Team

After earning his bachelor’s degree in political science and public policy from Michigan State University in 1998, David obtained his Juris Doctor degree and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from DePaul University College of Law in 2003. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Michigan, and several federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. 

Before establishing Madden Law LLC, David spent two decades working at both national and regional law firms, representing corporations and high-net-worth individuals. His diverse background includes significant legal counsel experience in cybersecurity and data privacy, corporate law, real estate and commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and estate planning. David’s commitment to excellence and client-focused service led him to create a firm that prioritizes efficiency, transparency, and personalized legal strategies.

David has earned the title of Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and resides in Woodridge, where he supports families as a Board Member of the Woodridge School District 68 Board of Education. David has also authored articles and legal briefs on a wide range of topics, such as litigation strategy, estate planning, and bankruptcy. He has also presented on the Corporate Transparency Act and post-judgment proceedings and collections.

David’s dedication extends beyond the courtroom. As a former infantry Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, honorably discharged in 2003, he brings discipline and integrity to his legal practice. Residing in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and three children, David is actively involved in his community, attending his children’s school and sporting events. He is also a technology enthusiast and enjoys coding.
